Whole software architecture

Home page, with recent files system, save/load/export pixelOver projects. Projects in tab system with view. Inputs system with undo/redo...

Pixel-over shader

Inputs to adjust colors, manage image palette, put inline and outline and other filters in real time to help you make the best pixel-over from an artwork.

Transform and compare tools

Transform tool useful for scene management, move, rotate, deform and resize objects. Compare tool to see the difference before and after pixelOver.

Scene composition

Import multiple images. Create multiple layers to put different pixelation settings.

Import animated images

Import gif, sprite sheet or multiple images in PixelOver. New panel to manage multiple animations (ex: Idle, Running, ...)

Animated shader

Use key animations to animate the shader. Useful for example to make an animation of a pixel perfect scaling effect.

Static 3D to pixel art

Import 3D models and manage the 3D scene with saved presets (ex: TopDown, Isometric, Platformer,...).

Animated 3D to pixel art

Import rigged 3D models with animations.

Inverse kinematics

Use inverse kinematics constraint to animate a chain of bones.

Mesh deformation

Deform images with bones.

Particle systems

Generate fully customizable particles.
